Alissa Serfozo

Alissa Serfozo is a dual Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Real Estate Development candidate at MIT. She has practiced architecture in New York and Hungary with Bernard Tschumi Architects and Puhl és Dajka Építész Iroda, contributing to high-profile capital projects and urban design initiatives across Europe, North America, and China. At MIT, she was part of Shawmut Design & Construction’s project management team for the adaptive reuse of the Metropolitan Warehouse. She is also an experienced editor and writer, advising on academic publications, digital media, and book projects.

Alissa's practice addresses the built environment as a dynamic space for connection. Her approach to design enhances existing conditions and constructs novel solutions within practical constraints, and her research explores the applications of sustainable technologies. She is particularly interested in how architecture can bridge the gap between urban and rural environments, promoting social, economic, and multigenerational cohesion.

Alissa holds a bachelor of arts degree in Architecture and Urban Studies, summa cum laude, from Princeton University.
